Use the following illustration as a guide to assist you while you take the required measurements listed below. The B-Style door comes with a raised threshold to accommodate higher grade.

Please measure the actual foundation since any old doors will be removed and the new door will mount directly to the foundation and house wall. In addition, it is important to measure in a variety of places in the even that the foundation has cracked and/or shifted.

Foundation plates are used to create an aesthetically pleasing, uniform metal cap on an existing foundation. Foundation plates are used when the foundation walls are in bad shape. Foundation Plates give a flat surface to seal the unit on.
